Terms of Use

1. Acceptance
By using GrowthUp you agree to these terms and to the Medical Disclaimer shown with them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Age
You must be at least 18 years old.
3. What GrowthUp is
GrowthUp is a personal record-keeping and unit-conversion tool. You enter what you are taking; the app stores it, converts amounts into syringe units, tracks your remaining supply and reminds you on the schedule you set. GrowthUp is not a pharmacy, not a prescriber, not a medical device, and not a substitute for professional care.
4. No medical advice
Nothing in the app — including any schedule, preparation note, interaction note or storage note — is medical advice, and the app does not supply amounts at all. See the Medical Disclaimer.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you enter, for verifying every figure the app derives from it, for consulting a licensed clinician, and for complying with the laws that apply where you are. You are responsible for obtaining substances lawfully and for their safe storage and disposal.
6. Reminders are not guaranteed
Reminders and alarms depend on iOS, on your notification settings, on Focus modes, on battery state and on the device being on. Do not rely on GrowthUp as the only safeguard against a missed or a doubled dose.
7. Reference data
The substance library is compiled from published literature and labelling. It may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Interaction warnings cover only the combinations we have encoded; the absence of a warning means nothing.
8. Your content
What you enter stays yours. You grant us only what is needed to store it, show it back to you on your devices, and — where you have switched it on — show the specific items you chose to the friends you have accepted. We do not sell it, and we do not show it to anyone else.
8a. Friends
Adding a friend requires a request from one of you and acceptance by the other, and either of you can remove it at any time. Sharing is off by default and item by item; see the Privacy Policy for exactly what a friend can see. Do not add someone you do not know, and remember that anything you share is out of your hands once they have seen it. Amounts are never shared.
9. Availability and changes
Features may change or be withdrawn. We may update these terms; a substantive change will be shown to you in the app for acceptance.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any harm arising from your use of the app, including harm arising from a figure it displayed, a reminder that did not fire, or data that was lost. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. That removes your profile, your protocol, your logs, your sharing settings, your friendships and your friend requests from our servers. See the Privacy Policy for the full list.
